We do work on a lot of reflective graphics projects for emergency services vehicles. These films tend to be expensive and require a skilled applicator. The benefits are however correspondingly enormous with the massive increase in visibility a potential life saver.
3M’s diamond grade films have in recent years faced a lot of competition from other brands, some of which offer easier application options – but all of which remain at the high end of the price spectrum. However, as set out in this great article, these films offer undeniable benefits to a wide range of vehicle operators and it will no doubt just be a matter of time until New Zealand takes steps to legislate for greater use of these films.
