With simple care and maintenance your magnetic vehicle signs should last for years.
Caring for your Magnets:
- Flat – make sure your magnets lie flat on the vehicle. If any area of the magnet is raised over vehicle panelwork, the magnet may not be held securely
- Clean – don’t leave your magnets in place for long periods. At least weekly, the magnets should be removed and and the vehicle and the magnet cleaned and dried before reuse. Magnets can be cleaned using warm water and a mild, non-abrasive detergent. Do not apply vehicle polish to your magnets
- Speed – vehicle magnets are not rated for motorway speed. Please remove them if you will be driving above 70 km/h
- Carwash – remove magnets before pressure washing or using an automatic carwash.
- Storage – when not in use, avoid wrinkling by storing your magnets dry and lying flat
